People by from those they trust and like. Follow leaders they admire. Relationships build sales, Leadership builds relationships. As a leader, though, must constantly learn and grow.
As leaders we are the Key Holder.
Skills necessary are Effective communication, have a positive attitude, be reliable, motivate thus inspire, have integrity, and total commitment, be passionate or get out.
Styles vary: How do you go about doing things? Need to bring energy. Learn to work with others based on the Wilson Learning Curve. Match with your peers and clients.
Analytical (wants all of the data) controls Driving Style (in charge)
Amiable Style (the “WE” person) displays emotion Expressive Style
Our actions speak in everything we do and say!
Know the styles, modify yours to match the ones you are working with, lead the process, engage others when necessary, negotiate effectively, and act with integrity.
When marketing yourself, use all 4 quadrants above.
